I know I have been super quiet on the blog, I am so sorry about that. A lot of work has been going on behind the scenes though. I hope you have been catching up with me on all my other social media channels to see everything I’ve been working on!

I want to take this opportunity to bring you all up to speed and give you some insight on all the projects I’m currently working on. As you know, this is the spot to get all the secrets and tea first!
So as you already know, I am doing MY DUBAI SERIES on SNAPCHAT and BARGAIN THURSDAY. These two projects are really about sharing more of myself and my life with you outside of the blog. I have found that it’s a really great way to interact with all of you and get to know you personally especially if you are on SNAPCHAT! I have made so many amazing friends already and I am loooking forward to making many many more!
To those who have no idea what BARGAIN THURSDAY (BT) is, let me tell you, you have been missing out! But never fear there is great news, it’s not too late to join in on the fun and win some really cool prizes! The purpose of BARGAIN THURSDAY is just to show you lovelies that looking fantastic and slaying the streets doesn’t have to cost you an arm, a leg and all your life savings! I feel like so many beautiful women are scared to explore with their style and fashion aesthetic because they are convinced it is expensive and time consuming. But honestly it doesn’t have to be! I’m always talking about planning a little playdate with yourself once a week (30minutes/ 1hour). Understand what you like, what you don’t, what makes you feel amazing and what you would be willing to experiment with. This is the time to plan, strategize all your outfits, makeup, hair, anything really for the upcoming week and what better time than your playdate?
That being said, my third project is the BARGAIN THURSDAY LOOKBOOK that I’m currently working on. I am overjoyed that I get to actually do this, I have been planning this lookbook since last year.
I will be creating wearable looks with all my BT Essentials. It’s one thing just to see and admire affordable, gorgeous pieces from afar and another to translate those pieces into everyday outfits that work for you! The lookbook is meant to inspire ideas and ignite some slayage!
BT is not just about having a good time and winning awesome prizes but to me it’s also about, showcasing an affordable fashion lifestyle and letting you know that it’s not only possible, it’s right within your reach! Hopefully, encouraging healthy spending habits in regards to style, fashion and beauty.
Ladies, PLEASE, let us SLAY in all aspects of our lives and have a healthy wallet to show for it!

Those that follow the blog religiously also know how passionate I am about writing! A lot of times, writing is the only way I can fully express myself and get in touch with how I truly feel.
Basically, since I’m a well known cheapskate, writing is my therapy!haha Not trying to pay anyone!
Which brings me to my fourth project, a diary/confessional on my daily experiences of working in retail in the Middle East. I will be giving you more details on that closer to the launch, please stay tuned! I am really excited to share my career journey and shed some light on some of my work (real world) realities! I hope everyone is ready!!
How many of you know my alter-ego Naome?? Yes, she is very real and quite frankly out of control but I just have to love her! Naome’s main domain is SNAPCHAT, so that’s the place to be if you would like to see her and her craziness! But to keep her from getting into too much trouble, we both agreed and made an executive decision to give her a little project to work on also.
Those that follow my INSTAGRAM have probably seen HAIR EXPERIMENTS BY NAOME and wondered who Naome was, well there it is! She looks exactly like me but I can guarantee you, she has a mind of her own! If you do come across her, support her by liking, commenting and sharing her fabulous hair experiments! If you have any suggestions on the types of hair experiments you would like to see her do, I’m sure Naome is open to receiving them!
Putting it all down on paper just made me realise that I am such a busy body! But it has to be done for THE DREAM! I have a couple of other projects still in the works and when the time is right, as always, you will be the first to know!
I just want you to know that even when I’m quiet on the blog, TRUST that baby girl is getting this WORK! I haven’t slowed down, in fact I have picked up the pace and I still have my eye on the GOAL!
Lastly, THANK YOU ALL for your continued support, I don’t think you understand how much it really means to me! I am truly grateful for each and every one of you. You guys keep me going, you are all amazing!
